Like most things customised prints and the garments they are printed on deteriorate over time due to use and environmental conditions. We use only the highest quality permanent pigment dyes in our printing process but the length of time that your print will look good depends on many factors. The most important of which is how you care for the print and the garment it is printed on. You can extend the life of your garment and personalised print by following some basic care instructions.
Note: Some of the inks and chemicals used in the printing process may cause irritation of sensitive skin especially on children. It is recommended that garments are washed once before wearing them. Any stiffness or shininess of the fabric, or lines left by our heat treatments should disappear after the first wash.

Washing Instructions:
Customised prints on fabrics should be hand washed with the garment turned inside out and in lukewarm water with a mild washing powder. No bleach or other strong detergents should be used. Do not wash with jeans or other stiff/heavy fabrics as these can damage your print due to their weight and roughness. Never wring the garment out as this can distort or crack the print and stretch the garment out of shape.
Drying Instructions:
Garments and other fabric items with custom prints should NEVER be tumble dried unless on the coldest setting. Do not hang the garment on a washing line but rather dry flat on top of a towel out of the sun. If the garment is drying in direct sunlight it should be turned inside out to protect the print. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause the print to fade.
Ironing Instructions:
NEVER iron directly over a print. A warm iron can be used to iron around the print but any direct heat applied to the print will cause damage.
Following these instructions will ensure a long life for your print and the garment it is printed on.
